ASTM D813, ASTM D430, and ASTM D4482
The dynamic properties of rubber are one of the things that make it so unique. There are several standard methods for examining these properties based upon end application.
ASTM D430 measures the dynamic fatigue on materials through cyclic flexing through surface cracking and break. ASTM D813 provides an estimation of a materials ability to resist crack growth through cyclic flexing of a pierced test specimen. ASTM D4482 helps characterize fatigue life at various extension ratios through looking at full flex-life performance.
ACE offers a full range of rubber and synthetic compound testing. If you are interested in a test method that is not shown, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your testing needs.
