ACE Brings Innovation in Technology & Services to the Rubber and Silicone Markets
ACE began at a 2000 square-foot facility in Akron, Ohio – a historic capital of the rubber industry – and quickly found many clients eager for ACE’s basic testing and research & development.
ACE quickly provided a much-needed menu of high quality products and services to the ever-changing rubber and silicone industry. Within two years, ACE expanded in a new 220,000 square-foot operation in Ravenna, Ohio. ACE evolved as a small company to a world-class laboratory operated by a talented multi-generational team of professionals.
This provided ACE with the space to grow into Erick Sharp’s vision to change the game – provide classroom learning to students and professionals in ACE’s iLearn Innovation Institute. In 2018 ACE earned ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
In addition to providing research and testing product developers, ACE partners with colleges and high schools to foster a passion for the industry with testing, education and hands-on lab experience.
